Privacy Policy

1. About this app

COST (the "App") is a personal, single-user analytics tool hosted at cost.shelsilver.com. It aggregates the owner's own Facebook advertising data together with conversion data from the owner's Keitaro tracker to calculate cost, revenue and ROI. The App is not offered to third parties and has no paid plans.

2. Data we collect

When you log in via Facebook, the App stores in its own database:

  • your Facebook user ID and display name (to identify the session);
  • a long-lived OAuth access token issued by Meta, used only to call the Marketing API on your behalf;
  • advertising metadata you choose to sync: ad accounts, campaigns, ad sets, ads, and daily insights (spend, impressions, clicks, results);
  • conversion records pulled from your configured Keitaro instance (clicks, conversions, payouts).

The App does not collect your password, payment methods, posts, friends, messages, photos, or any data unrelated to advertising.

3. Facebook permissions used

  • ads_read — read ad accounts, campaigns and insights;
  • ads_management — reserved for later features (pausing campaigns);
  • business_management — list Business Manager assets;
  • read_insights — read performance metrics;
  • pages_show_list — list pages linked to the ad account.

4. How data is used

Data is used solely to render the owner's private dashboard (cost, revenue, ROI, CPA, EPC). It is never sold, shared, rented, or transferred to any third party. No analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs are embedded in the App.

5. Storage and security

All data lives in a private PostgreSQL database on a dedicated VPS under the owner's control. Traffic is served over HTTPS (Let's Encrypt). Access tokens are stored server-side only and are never exposed to the browser. Sessions use signed, HTTP-only cookies.

6. Data retention & deletion

You may request deletion of all stored data at any time by writing to andreysilver13@gmail.com or by visiting /data-deletion. You can also revoke the App's access immediately from your Facebook account settings: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → remove "COST". Once revoked, all associated tokens become invalid.

7. Third parties

The App communicates with two upstream APIs: Meta Graph API (to fetch ads data) and the Keitaro Admin API hosted by the owner. Their respective privacy policies apply to the data they hold on their side. The App does not share your data with anyone else.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
